Thriller Recommendations

This is one of those books that will stay with me a long time. Incredibly written, this devastating and riveting novel is about 19yr old Sadie who is in pursuit of her sister's murderer. The story flips back and forth between Sadie and the journalist who tracks her journey and her disappearance and has created a podcast of her story. I was sucked into this book from the very first page and have listened to this book on audiobook in every free moment I have had since starting it earlier this week.

Another fantastic book by Dan Gemeinhart (Some Kind of Courage, The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise). Jonathan has been sent to a reformatory school (think Alcatraz but worse) and is at this horrible school with 15 other misfits. When a freak accident occurs, leaving them without supervision, they decide to stay on the island. What could possibly go wrong?! This fast-paced thriller keeps the reader on the edge of their seat the whole time.

A YRCA nominee for 2021, Small Spaces has just the right amount mystery and terror to keep you reading and wanting more.
