The beautiful story of the Dalai Lama and his message and teachings about compassion.

A stranger arrives with a suitcase and the animals badger their new arrival to tell them what is in the suitcase. He tells them there is a tea cup, a table and a chair, which they find absurd. When he succumbs to his exhaustion, they break into the suitcase and discover a teacup, which is now broken, and a picture of the table, chair and home. They realise they have made an error and must fix what they have done. This story is one of kindness, empathy and friendship.

A super cute picture book about being different, seeking acceptance and being yourself.

An oldie but goodie. I love winter and appreciate the joy the young boy takes in a snowy day.

A wonderful twisted fairytale version of the three little pigs about how yoga brings the wolf some calm in his life. Great message in this story and such fun to read!

A young boy is always full of wonder wherever he goes, and sometimes he gets so lost lost in his wonders that he must be redirected by the adults in his life. Then his art teacher encourages him to use his imagination in his drawings and he does. The result is detailed, bold and incredible pictures. The message that we should take time to wonder about the world and all its magnificent parts is so powerful in this book.
