My first post here has to be about one of my favourite picture books of all time, Ida Always. The beautiful story of two polar bears, their friendship and the loss of one. I have read this book more times than I can count and I get teary every time I read it.

A while back I shared a book about what would happen is sharks disappeared. This beautiful picture book is along the same line. A great way to teach kids about how we are all dependent on animals to keep our ecosystems in balance. The pictures are beautiful too!
