A fabulous story about an awesome young boy who knows what he likes and and is comfortable with telling others. His passion for what he loves rubs off on others who start to share the things they love, which they previously had felt must stay a secret.

I love this poem written by Lebron James, and the promise these kids make for themselves each day.

So much to love about this. Being kind, being brave, being courageous,and being fierce all in one book. Can't go wrong with that.

A lovely story about missing family who have passed away and remembering they are still part of all of us.

Such an important and beautiful picture book. I have worked with many kids over the years who have had stutters and I think this book could have made such a difference to them knowing that there are others like them and giving them a great way to understand and explain their challenges. A powerful story and one that should be in all libraries and classrooms.

Another book of poetry I look forward to sharing with my students. Artist Ingrid Godon's famous series of faces are accompanied by Toon Tellegen's poems representing his perception of the thoughts and emotions within each face.

This is a fun book that is a hit with kids. Gabe's monster under his bed has gone fishing so he is in search of a new monster. He is particular about what he wants, so the question is whether any of these monsters auditioning to be his monster will meet his needs.

There is so much to love about this book. A young girl has been in a wheelchair her whole life has a dream to dance. She dreams of being part of a dance show but thinks it could never happen because of her being in a wheelchair. Then her mom finds a dance organization who welcomes dancers of all levels and abilities. Her mom takes her and she learns that her dream isn't an impossibility.

I love this book for many reasons but most importantly it reminds to us to take time to wonder on our journey through life.
